ANGLO FIXIT is a service for the English speaking ex-pat community of France. My name is Kevin Sheridan and I have over twenty years of experience of life in France having lived, worked and done business here. I started the ANGLO FIXIT service after I noticed a real need within our community for quality bilingual problem solving and representation.
ANGLO FIXIT can help you with a range of different issues that can be problematic in France.
Even if you are able to speak French relatively well, it can help to have that extra support from someone who has experience of complex negotiation and problem solving in the French language as well as knowledge of the local mindset and cultural differences.
ANGLO FIXIT is available to help with ANY problems you may be experiencing. You will find some of the more common services we provide below.
Consultation
You may just need answers to questions or need advice. ANGLO FIXIT will research your issue and come back with solid answers and an effective solution to your problem.
Mediation
ANGLO FIXIT will mediate with any French professionals or tradesmen you are dealing with and make sure that all your instructions and needs are fully understood. We can mediate with healthcare professionals and make sure that you understand fully everything that is going on and the options that are available. If you are having problems with your neighbours regarding boundary issues, rights of way, water sources, noise disturbance, planning permissions etc. we can mediate and negociate for you.
Administrations
ANGLO FIXIT can help you with administrations as well as help you find the correct health cover, insurance etc.
Negotiation
ANGLO FIXIT founder Kevin Sheridan has years of experience of property negotiation in France. We can help you negociate or advise you during the negotiation of a property aquisition or contract with professionals or tradesmen.
General problem solving
There are many problems one can experience when navigating a new culture and system. We would be happy to discuss your particular needs and help you find an effective solution to your specific problem.
Your man in France
Are you a business or organisation who has regular dealings with France? ANGLO FIXIT can be your "Man in France" carrying out your communicative and problem solving needs when required.
Fees
ANGLO FIXIT fees are charged at an hourly rate of 50 euros per hour with a minimum fee of 25 euros. Most ANGLO FIXIT interventions involve 2 - 3 ten minute phone calls and are billed at our standard 25 euros rate. Should you need us to contact a premium rate number, mobile phone or international contact, the cost will be added to our fee.
Our hourly rate is negotiable should you need us to carry out an intervention that involves multiple hours or days of work. It is also possible to negotiate a monthly rate for such services as having a French language telephone response for your business or other ongoing services you may need.
